Intro Yo!!!
I believe that God gives everyone the chance in life to live it in any way we choose. Fortunately I chose to follow God at a young age and have been discovering his plan for my life more and more with each waking day. Youth ministry is my passion and has been since my early teens. I discovered my niche at Life For Youth Ranch in Vero Beach, FL after first being a camper for many years and then by serving as a camp counselor for seven years. I knew God had huge plans for my life that revolved around camp ministry....I just couldn't yet figure out how.
After searching and struggling for direction for two years, I stumbled upon YD Adventures. I pictured myself involved in this ministry and could only imagine the possibilities of reaching youth with such a powerful tool. Often youth are feared because of the load they sometimes carry due to their circumstances and are ignored for their inexperience. I want to break down that wall and take them into a place completely beyond life's heartaches and show them the majesty of God and the beauty of what he created in them and in nature. That's how we can reach young people.
As cheesy as it may sound, I think the lyrics from "Climb Every Mountain" can best sum things up:
