About the D'Atres
The quality staff within Youth Dynamics is what has kept me here since 1997. I love the community at Stonewater Ranch and our town of Plain. I come alive when I’m in a guiding role, whether it’s using vacation days to lead tourists on snowmobile tours or training our volunteers. I love to see the story of God’s restoration come to life when people get out of the familiar and into the wilderness.
Melissa and I spent our first wedding anniversary as Summer Staff on a backcountry training trip on the Olympic Coast. On our second wedding anniversary, we arrived from Virginia as full-time staff.
Melissa has been the Food Provisioning Coordinator and the Client Services Coordinator. She now stays at home with our 5 children (Dawson, Isaac, Kalea, Eden, and Silas).
My outdoor background started in Boy Scouts, progressed through Search and Rescue, and involved guiding in the Adirondacks through Gordon College for their La Vida program.
