About Nooksack Valley Youth Dynamics

Nooksack Valley Youth Dynamics has been serving Whatcom County, Washington, since August, 2008. We saw a need to reach young people in this rural community as an alternative to getting into mischief. Youth Dynamics serves students from the Nooksack Valley and Mount Baker school districts, in what is considered East Whatcom County. We serve both high school and middle school aged students.

With the North Cascades in our back yard and lakes dotting the area, we have many opportunities to leverage wilderness adventures in our ministry mix.

High School Ministry: We have an activepresence on the Nooksack Valley High School campus. Our goal is to support our local high school and to build relationships with high schoolers. The youth center on 3^rd Ave and is a safe, non- threatening space where students can meet and have fun and hear about Jesus. We offer adventure clubs, weekly after-school drop-ins, mentoring, discipleship, and retreats.

 

Middle School Ministry: We are seeking staff and volunteers who have a heart to seek students attending the middle schools in Nooksack Valley. Expanding ministry impact to a younger generation, we feel God leading us to minister to students in this school. If you are interested, please contact Tim.

• Sunday: Middle and High School Outreach 5:30-7:15 PM
