Located in Horseshoe Bend, Idaho, about 30 miles north of Boise, the base allows for a spectrum of experiences in God’s creation. Placed between the western edge of the Rockies and the Great Basin Desert, it is common to raft on the boundary of the desert one day and climb in the subalpine the next.

Whether your group is looking for high adventure or low-risk challenges, Youth Dynamics Adventures Idaho can help facilitate a trip to meet your goals. No matter what level of adventure you choose, your trip becomes a pivotal launch toward transformation. Adventure forges the backbone to your trip, but quiet, uninterrupted conversation and time to think will bring deep value to your guided activity.

Whitewater Rafting and Kayaking

Take your pick from seven different sections of the Payette. From calm and entertaining Class II rapids that can accommodate everyone to heart-thumping adventure to Class IV sections for groups looking to step into a new realm of excitement and learning. Most sections of whitewater can be run from March until September which offers one of the longest rafting seasons in North America.

Mountaineering and Rock Climbing

Take your adventure vertical into the climbing world, a place many of us rarely go and never forget. People with no experience to lifelong climbers can find excitement and challenge together at our rock sites. Your guides will find the right climbs and rappels for your whole group. Our locations range from a close excursion outside of Boise at the Black Cliffs to the granite crags at 8,000 ft above Cascade. The Idaho team can also guide individuals and small parties of two or three.

Team Building and Challenge Course

Our team can turn almost any outdoor area into a spot ripe for challenge and discovery with our portable course. We won’t be dangling high up in the air, but the Idaho team will facilitate challenges that will be fun, thought-provoking, and appropriate for your group.

Custom Adventure Combo

Pair a few adventures together and experience another dimension of creation with your group. Our most popular offering is to invest two to three days and link a half-day challenge course with a day of rock climbing and finish out with some great whitewater. Our team prepares camp, meals and works with your group leaders ahead of time to plan the content for your adventure. In addition to the usual challenge and fun, your group will also be encouraged toward facilitated quiet times in the morning around the North Fork of the Payette.
