Hi, I’m Robert “Tex” Guerin
I had the privilege of being on the first trip that Youth Dynamics did on the Lower Salmon River almost 30 years ago. It was a powerful way to experience God then, and it still is today. As the Salmon River Adventure Base director, I am excited to bring the community I experienced as a young adult to the students God will provide.
As a young adult, I found community among other volunteer raft guides. We were investing in the lives of teens that we were taking down the river as we were being invested in by the full-time Youth Dynamics staff equipping us for ministry.
I met my wife, Jessica, through Youth Dynamics. We were introduced through mutual friends and fellow raft guides. Fast forward 14 years, and we are going to Grangeville, Idaho, with our kids to get the Salmon River Adventure base up and running.
We look forward to a new challenge and learning to trust God for His provision.
