Custom Adventure Combo

In Oregon, we have options for combo trips to run on the West or East side of the mountains or a variation of both! These multi-day adventure trips offer more opportunities for groups to grow closer together as the challenges and sense of adventure build each day! Plus, getting to camp out and debrief from the day’s activity allows people to slow down, think about what they learned, and dive into ministry conversations about how it all connects. Our combo trips are easily a highlight experience for a lot of groups!

Dangle and Dip

Starting with a challenge course day to encourage group unity and finishing with a rafting day to take advantage of newfound friendships in a pretty stellar setting, this trip is excellent for groups with just a little bit of time who want a lot of bang for their buck.

Rock and Roll

One of the most popular combos for a smaller time window, the Rock and Roll include one climbing day and one river day. The most common combination involves climbing at Horsethief Butte, and a raft on the Maupin stretch of the Deschutes, with an overnight camping experience at Wasco County Fairgrounds. The options are plentiful; let’s talk!

Rope, Rock, Raft

This adventure consists of one day of each: challenge course, rock climbing, and rafting/kayaking on the river. This trip is set up with the perfect elements in the perfect order to pull a group together and prepare them for maximum growth. The challenge course day helps them see their group and individual value and skills; the rock climbing builds on those and adds a deepened sense of what group encouragement can do; and then, those pieces are utilized on the rafting day. It makes for an incredible trip and a beautiful team!

River Adventure Program

If you ask anyone who’s been on it, including our staff, the “RAP” is a hands-down favorite trip. It’s much more than a raft trip and can include climbing, rappelling, swimming rapids, hiking, exploring small caves, and team-building elements experienced in the remote bends of the Deschutes River, some areas only accessible by boat. There are a million things to see and do, and the time to simply be together and enjoy the beauty of God’s creation.

Mountains to Missions

Our Mountains to Missions program is designed to combine the elements of an adventure experience with a mission trip. Using the adventures as the foundation, we work with a group to prepare them for some of the things they will experience during the mission portion of the trip. These trips are often truly powerful in the lives of students and staff alike. While the pieces of the trip are flexible, this program could involve backpacking, a climbing day, and/or a rafting day. Groups have the opportunity to serve locally at our adventure base or with one of our partners in the greater Portland area for the missions segment.
