Team Building and Challenge Course

Our Challenge Course days are customizable to your preference. We offer low, high, or portable team-building elements, facilitated by our staff, to foster faith-based conversations. You’ll find that swinging on a rope, wearing a blindfold, or balancing on a log can be an easy tool to talk about living in community and our need for God’s guidance! Deep conversations and fun times await!

Eagle Fern Camp

With both low and high challenge course elements, this shaded area above the fields at Camp Eagle Fern is a great place for team building and individual challenges. Face fears on the Catwalk (high balance beam), Screaming Eagle (zipline), and Giant’s Swing (giant swing), or explore your group dynamics with the Low Circuit and other ground-level challenges.

What does a typical day look like?

A typical day runs from about 9 am to 3:30 pm. We’ll start with an intro and launch into each element. We always take a break for lunch, whether we bring it or you do, and then dig in again. If you have specific requests about the schedule (such as needing to start at a specific time or leave early to catch another part of your adventure), we are happy to work with you on that. You’ll have input on the schedule!

Where will we meet the Youth Dynamics staff?

For Eagle Fern challenge course days, we meet in the camp parking lot. For portables, we’ll figure out the best place to hold the day, and meet there!

What am I responsible to bring?

Youth Dynamics will provide equipment that is well maintained and ready for your specific course. Your group will receive a packing list, so they’ll have an idea of what to wear to be well prepared. Every participant will need closed-toed, closed-heel shoes! If you have questions about your specific trip, please don’t hesitate to ask!

What is the best option for middle schoolers?

Challenge courses are designed to take into consideration all participants, their abilities, and comfort with the challenge. We want all experiences to be memorable and fun and can provide options that will take students out of their comfort zone but not into a panic.

Our staff will equip and provide the essentials for your experience (e.g. gear, food, equipment, training, insurance) and will work with your group leader for programming and other logistical needs. In addition, our staff will provide the technical and professional skills needed to provide a safe and life-changing adventure.

Our goal is to assist you in providing a memorable experience for your group that has the opportunity to be life-transforming. Whether you are trying to create unity in your church youth group or build community in your school, group home, or youth-related organization—we are with you!

Let’s adventure together!
