Life and Leadership Training
The 6-week Life and Leadership Training (LLT) is an opportunity for juniors and seniors in high school to work closely with staff who use wilderness adventures to share the love of Christ with teenagers. This highly relational and discipleship-based program emphasizes individual and group exploration of culturally relevant topics and present experiences.
Summer Staff
Each year Youth Dynamics hires a select number of young adults to help lead adventure trips for teenagers in the Pacific Northwest as Summer Staff.
Summer Staff opportunities are available at each of our Adventure bases. Each base is unique because of the location and the demographic of people they serve, but they are united by the same heart to help young people discover life with Christ.
Internships
If you are unsure if a permanent ministry position is for you or if you are looking for a short-term missionary experience, an internship through Youth Dynamics might just be the opportunity for you.
Youth Dynamics offers a 12-month internship, either in a community or at an adventure base, that allows you to learn and minister alongside seasoned staff. This is a ministry experience internship that will focus on your faith journey and leadership development.
Stonewater Adventure Bible School
Stonewater Adventure Bible School is meant to disciple, equip, and empower adults 18 and older by providing a safe, engaging, and adventure-centric learning environment for self-discovery, leadership, and faith.
Stonewater is the ideal location for this 5-week course integrating technical outdoor skills, Bible teaching, worship, community, and wilderness adventure. The course is offered twice a year (fall and spring) and aims to increase personal faith, Biblical knowledge and application, self-discovery, personal responsibility, teamwork, and one’s leadership potential.

If I'm applying for summer staff, what if I can't stay the whole time due to college schedule?
We can usually be flexible with school/college schedules. Please apply or call if you have more questions.
Do I have to have any experience with outdoor adventures to apply?
No, you do not need any adventure experience for any of the leadership development programs that you apply up for. We will train you!
Where will I be staying?
The Life and Leadership and Summer Staff positions are a combination of camping and staying in staff housing at Stonewater.
Do I have to believe in God to participate?
The Life and Leadership Training program is for students who want to know more about following Jesus and what the Bible says about leading like He does. Students are not required to believe in God to participate in the program but are required to actively engage in the internship’s conversations and Bible reading components.
Summer Staff positions are for young adults who have a personal relationship with God and want to share that with others.
The Adventure Bible School is for young adults who desire to grow in their relationship with God and become further rooted and grounded in faith through Biblical study.
At Youth Dynamics, we recognize that the questions, learning, or appetite for adventure that a young person desires to experience extends through high school and into their 20’s. The leadership development opportunities are a few options that speak to the heartbeat of the staff who serve with Youth Dynamics. Each of these programs or employment opportunities is full of spiritual mentorship, adventure, and rich community.
