About Ariel
My family and I are originally from California. We moved to Idaho in January of 2020. I was a sophomore at the time, and it was a difficult transition. I struggled to fit in and struggled with being in a completely different area. But God showed me through the pandemic that He had us where He wanted us in His perfect timing. And God is continuing to show me that He planted my family and I in Riggins, for His purpose and His plan.
After graduating High School, God led me to take a Discipleship Training School (DTS) with Youth with a Mission (YWAM) in Oregon. We went to Nepal for our outreach, and that’s where I fell in love with youth ministry. A couple years before, I briefly heard about Youth Dynamics from Wade Henderson when he told my Dad about it. Shortly after returning from DTS I discovered an Adventure Bible School (ABS) with Youth Dynamics in Washington. I got to experience their mission and felt the love of God from all the people I met there. It caused my heart for people to completely change to desire God’s heart for people.
“We love because he first loved us” (1 John 4:19). God has many ways to show His love. Youth Dynamics is one way, and it’s where He is calling me. I’m excited that I have this opportunity to build relationships with others and point them to Christ. All for the glory of God!
