About Anacortes Youth Dynamics

Since 1970, Anacortes Youth Dynamics is engaging local youth by offering relevant and powerful life-changing opportunities. By connecting students with caring adults, we challenge them to step out of their comfort zone and fall in love with God and His creation. We also offer leadership opportunities and the kind of adventures youth are born to experience. Most importantly, we invite youth to know and follow Christ.

Learning Center

The Anacortes Youth Center is transforming into a Learning Center for students to have a different atmosphere to complete schoolwork in a safe environment during the school closures due to the coronavirus. Free internet, tutoring, and a safe place to complete schoolwork are provided every Wednesday.

  • Learning Center Address: Youth Dynamics (2410 J Ave, Anacortes WA 98221)

  • Our Learning Center Hours will be: 9 am-4 pm

  • The Learning Center will be serving Middle and High School students only.

  • Parents/Guardians are REQUIRED to check their students during their first arrival. Afterward, the student can check themselves in; the following weeks.

  • Each student must be registered to participate!

COVID-19 Procedures

  • Students are required to wear masks upon entry.

  • Masks may only be removed at designated desks that are socially distanced (6 feet apart).

  • Each student is required to go through a screening upon entering the building. Screenings include temperature check, symptoms questioning, and use of hand sanitizer.

  • Food will not be served, per state regulations. You are welcome to bring food and drinks into the youth center.

Can students stay the entire time?

Yes! Keep in mind, first-come, first-served due to limited space.

What should students bring?

Schoolwork, computer/tablet, supplies needed to complete schoolwork, mask, headphones, food, and drink.

Can my elementary school student come?

Unfortunately, we are only able to accommodate middle and high schoolers at this time.

Will you ensure that my student stays at the youth center all day?

No. We are an open youth center and the program is “at will.” However, parents may request a text notification upon student check out.

Will you have the Learning Center open every Wednesday?

At this point, yes! We will revisit at the end of the semester.

(NO STUDY HALL: Thanksgiving Week 11/25, Christmas Week 12/23, Winter Break 12/30)

Is the Learning Center free?

Yes! We love our community and our YOUTH! We are thrilled to serve you in the best way we can.
