Godly Men in Training

“Man of God, Disciple of Christ, Warrior for Jesus, Servant Leader, Man of Integrity, Hard Worker, Team Player” - what do all these titles have in common?  They are qualities that every Christian young man should aspire to, but seldom actually ever achieves.  The purpose of GMiT is to enable you to “be all you can be” in Christ.

GMiT is an all guy 12 day intensive discipleship encounter involving 3 leaders and 9 students, working and playing, studying and praying, challenging and bonding, eating and living, exploring and discovering together as a band of brothers what it means to be a godly man.

Program Emphasis-

Increasing our love for God and our fellow man

• Understanding our identity in Christ
• Applying Scripture to our everyday lives
• Learning about our “One another” responsibilities
• Discovering our passion and purpose in life

Understanding God’s expectations of every “Man of God”

• Learning about the ingredients of Integrity
• Discovering the benefits of a hard work / team work ethic
• Practicing servant leadership
• Respecting and relating to women in a God-pleasing way

Expanding our zeal for the outdoors

• Challenging our fears, stretching our limits, physically and mentally Surviving and thriving in extreme outdoor environments
• Gaining experience in wilderness camping and mountaineering
• Understanding our role as stewards of God’s creation


Requirements:


• A guy in your junior or senior year in High School
• A personal relationship with Jesus and a desire to grow to love God more
• A willingness to participate in close community with other young men
• An eagerness to be challenged in an intensive learning environment
• A desire to live life to the fullest, physically and spiritually
• A submission to God’s process of forging you into a godly man
