About Jonathan Martens
Jonathan joined the Youth Dynamics team on September 9th, 2024. He went on several Youth Dynamics-led adventures in high school which made a huge impact on his life. A longtime Whatcom County resident and lifelong believer, he is passionate about using his connections, skills, and experience to help young people come to know Jesus. Previously, he has served as a campus pastor at Western Washington University, as the Hospitality Coordinator for Lighthouse Mission Ministries’ Basecamp, and as the Community Engagement Specialist for World Relief Western Washington.
He and his wife, Emily, live in Bellingham, WA, where they enjoy hiking, camping, paddleboarding, hammocking, and so much more. One of their favorite things is hiking to a beach where they set up hammocks and read books while listening to the sound of the waves on the shore. If you are ever trying to find Jonathan, check the beach… there’s a good chance that’s where he is!
