Sean Sallis

As a teenager, I faced challenges at home that left me looking for answers in the chaos. I was invited to a youth group at First Baptist Church of Moses Lake by a group of friends and I was very nervous about attending. It was through those relationships that I found true community. I trusted Jesus Christ at the age of 14 and soon came on the student leadership team at Youth Dynamics under the leadership of Mark Evans in 1996. Youth Dynamics played a huge role in my walk with Jesus, along with my struggles. This ministry has always held a special place in my heart. I attended Bible College at Word of Life Bible Institute from 1999-2001 and spent a year on a traveling team with Word of Life Impact Team in 2001-2002. It was during that year I met the love of my life, Cassandra Sallis. Her love for the Lord and student ministry captivated me and the rest is history.

In 2007, we packed up a Penske moving truck and came out to my hometown in Moses Lake, WA from Chattanooga, TN with our one-year-old boy not knowing what God would have in store for us, but trusting He would provide. The Lord moved us into student ministry full time at First Baptist Church of Moses Lake, where I served as the Associate Pastor over Student/Children Ministry and helping lead worship. We have seen many students come and go through the ministry at FBC and the relationships we have built with families and young people are an incredible blessing. We are so grateful for the thirteen years we had to serve at FBC! The burden our family has for the students and young adults in Moses Lake will continue as we adventure with youth through the ministry of Youth Dynamics in the PNW!
