Grand Prize Winner – “Leaving the Tame Behind”

Name: Daniel Marron

About the designer: Daniel Marron is a graphic designer and illustrator in Wenatchee, Washington. He loves how Youth Dynamics is reaching out to the youth in his area and giving them opportunities to push their comfort zone and try new things out in nature. Daniel feels like a person can grow so much through those experiences and wanted to convey that in this design.

Second Prize Winner – “Carabiner”

Name: Joie McGrath

About the designer: Joie is currently a student at Western Washington University and was very active in Youth Dynamics. She went through the Life and Leadership Training and then went on to be a summer staff serving at the Youth Dynamics Adventure Idaho base. Joie came up with this design while sitting in a meeting, doodling in her journal.

Third Prize Winner – “Backpacks”

Name: Mackenzie McCausland

About the designer: Mackenzie enjoys making all kinds of art inspired by her love for nature and the outdoors. She often tends to favor the simplicity of line-drawn work. This design celebrates the backpacking and mountaineering aspects of Youth Dynamics Adventures, with a nod to the history and evolution of gear over the organization’s 50-year history.
