Expanding Youth Dynamics

Youth Dynamics has been committed to reaching youth since 1970. We do this through building relationships and inviting youth to high-quality, transformative outdoor adventures. We are both relational and adventurous, and we call our ministry strategy Relational Adventure Youth Ministry.

Youth Dynamics is committed to expanding the ministry. Before a new Youth Dynamics ministry starts, it is critical to be directed by the Lord. We want and need God’s direction as we prayerfully consider new ministry opportunities. It is also essential to consider specific criteria/questions.

Six Keys to Starting a New Youth Dynamics Ministry

1. 1. A point person from the new location willing to help lead the process to start a ministry
   2. A ​calling​ from God to reach young people through Youth Dynamics
   3. Trained and motivated ​director​ ​(area, volunteer, church partner, etc.)
   4. An effective ​local advisory committee
   5. Financial​ health
   6. Trained and motivated ​staff team​ (volunteers and additional paid staff if needed)

Four Important Questions to Consider:

1. Where will I recruit volunteers to assist in ministry efforts​?
   Churches, friends, family, school faculty, like-minded organizations, etc.
2. What core ministry should I begin?
   There is no right answer. Instead, it’s a thoughtful and prayerful conversation about what is most needed and where the best opportunities to start and sustain a ministry are.
3. Where will ministry take place?​
   What facility? Is there a school campus nearby? The Youth Dynamics ministry has a passion for “community-based ministry.” We go to students in their environment, not just expecting them to walk into a building. Are the local campuses open? What are the local places where teens hang out?
4. Who will support the Youth Dynamics’ student outreach in the community​?
   Individuals, businesses, churches, and other youth-oriented groups are candidates for prayer, partnership, and financial support.

Youth Dynamics needs YOU to be an integral part of fulfilling the mission to share Jesus Christ with teenagers. Here are some ways you can be involved.

1. Participate in the advisory committee
2. Contribute financially
3. Pray for Youth Dynamics in your community
4. Advocate for Youth Dynamics in your community
5. Volunteer for student ministry
6. Work full-time for Youth Dynamics
