About Katelynn Kazen
I was born and raised in Arlington, WA in a Christian home. My parents started volunteering with Youth Dynamics back in the early 1990’s as raft guides so I grew up around the river and wilderness ministry. I have so many fond memories of that time.
Growing up, I never thought about being a stateside missionary, I was always thinking about “real” careers. But in 2015 I decided to join the summer staff team at Stonewater and everything changed. The summers of 2015 and 2016 taught me so much about God, myself, and wilderness ministry. I fell in love with it and knew I had to continue serving. So in 2017, I joined the full-time team at Stonewater.
I am so blessed to work with the people I do. I find joy, purpose, and passion in this place.
