Hi! I’m Emily – Joy,
When I finished high school, God led me to Prairie Bible College, and took a year to do their Outdoor Leadership Program. Through this program, I fell in love with the outdoors and saw how important this ministry is in spreading the word of the gospel.
When I finished my first year, I thought that was it; however, God had other plans. I took a year off between my first and second years of college and missed the ministry of adventure. So I did a second year of outdoor leadership. During this year of school, I had the opportunity to go on a 21-day backpacking trip through Death Valley.
Through this trip, one of the most impactful things I learned is that God speaks in the wilderness. I heard him in the quiet of the dunes, in the roar of the wind, and could experience His love through the abundance of his provision. The personal experience I had with Christ through creation was incredible.
During my time here at Youth Dynamics, I want to show God’s love to each person I interact with through His creation and by serving those around me in love.
