About Christian Eckley
At the age of 14, I felt The Lord calling me into ministry during a mission trip to Cochabamba, Bolivia. The Lord’s calling never changed, and with a wake-up call in the form of a car accident that would take me years to recover from, God brought me back to my calling in 2015. Since then, I have been on a hot pursuit for the Lord’s work and excited to be living in His will and not my own. God has graciously opened many doors for me over the past five years to be a part of His ministry. It started with a Church plant in Bellingham. Then continued by Him leading me out to Eastern Illinois for an internship in a growing church. There I got schooling provided and I was able to take biblical knowledge courses through Global University. During my time in Illinois, I found the love of my life and now fiancé, Suzie. Along with the internship, God opened an exciting door for me to be on staff with a parachurch organization called Youth for Christ, where I served for two years.
Being raised in the Pacific Northwest where Youth Dynamics started sets the journey of God’s provision in my life to be a part of this amazing ministry. I feel that God has been reading my heart for this great opportunity to start something new in the Rochester, WA area where some great friends, Pastor Joe and Donneta Barth, will be serving alongside me. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to be serving for Youth Dynamics. We believe God’s got great things in store for the people of Rochester and we will put our best foot forward with the vision of Christ at the forefront of our ministry.
